HOW CAN CHILDREN LEARN TO DEMONSTRATE THEIR SELF-CONFIDENCE IN LIFE?

By | Articles | No Comments

Raising self-confident kids is one of the greatest aims of the parents.  Focusing on developing their competence, skills, and a strong sense of self-confidence provides a solid foundation for their learning and development. Moreover, it improves their health and psychological well-being. Knowing how to encourage your child and staying clued in on what to say when they look to you for guidance means a lot to grow kids. It helps them to trust their abilities and discover their potentials. It implies parents to keep motivating and encourage their children from a young age to make efforts for the things, as they may not be physically or mentally ready to try.

Parents want their children to be the best at everything. They want them to be smarter than any other child. They want them to do things sooner than other children. They convince their children to take chances by saying things like, “You can do it!” “It’s easy!” “Don’t be afraid!” “Just try one, “I know you can do it!”  Even if they fail, they keep on elevating their spirit and encourage themselves to try again. With time and encouragement, all children overcome their fears. They begin to develop their self-belief in themselves. They are convinced that they can do anything. They are full of confidence in their abilities. The words of encouragement from other immediate and extended family, relatives, and friends boost their stronger sense to accomplish their desired goals. Even when children become adults, they look up to their parents for guidance at every turn and juncture of their life. They hope that their parents will give them the best advice they gave them during their childhood. They count on their parents for their future success and relate to them as the best role model in their life.

Some ideas to nurture your child’s self-confidence

  • Strengthen your child’s sense of his family, culture, and community. For example, show your child family photos and share family stories, take part in community or cultural events like religious festivals, and encourage your child join a local sporting club or interest group or join as a family
  • Encourage your child to value being part of your family. One way to do this is by involving your child in chores. When everyone contributes to the smooth running of the household, you all feel important and valued
  • Encourage your child to have friends over to your house, and make time for your child to go to their houses
  • When you spend quality time with your child, you let your child know that they are important. Doing things together as a family can help strengthen a sense of belonging and togetherness in your family, which is also good for your child’s self-esteem
  • Develop family rituals such as a story at bedtime, a special goodbye kiss, or other ways of doing things special to your family. Let your child help you with house chores. For example, your preschooler could help you set the table for dinner
  • Plan some regular one-on-one time with your child, doing the things they enjoy the most. This could be their hobby, playing sports, baking cakes, or cooking a favorite dish

Appreciating their achievements helps them feel good. A statement such as, ‘Well done!’ can build their self-esteem. Continuous support and acknowledgment enhance their self-belief that paves the way towards attaining bigger goals in life.

Teach your child that failing is a part of learning. If they face a problem, encourage them to think calmly, listen to other people’s points of view, and develop possible solutions to try. It builds their decision-making skills and helps them to choose wisely.

Keep special reminders of your child’s successes and progress. You can go through them with your child and talk about your special memories and the things he has achieved.

To know more about how children can build their self-confidence to achieve their loftiest goals and passions in life, read the book ‘My Hyperrealist Life and Legacy’  by Carole Feuerman.  As an artist, she was able to define and explore her passion since childhood because of how her parents raised her. The book teaches us that if you want to be successful, you have to believe in yourself. You must have confidence in yourself and make an effort to achieve your milestones in life.

ENCOURAGING INSPIRATION IN ART

By | Articles | No Comments

Inspiration is regarded as one of the most important phenomena in art learning and creation. We all know that art can just as easily inspire people and facilitate creative thought-process. It can also arouse art-making in other individuals as well. Inspiration in art-making comes from the appreciation of the art itself. At their young age, many artists have known to have visited different museums and schools to view different types of art and have been inspired by what they saw.

Inspiration for Art and its Creations

For some artists, they have described receiving their inspiration from their own previous work. Many of them consider that inspiration comes from a higher power and that is the reason why people can be drawn towards it. There are also artists, who take hints of creativity from other artists and consider it an honor that they are getting a chance to replicate the work of their muse. For example, many artists in the world have been inspired by other artists, holding them in high regard and have marketed themselves as such.

As creating any artwork requires conscious effort, a lot of artists have said that their inspiration comes from within. However, how the inspirational process can be utilized in art learning does seem to be a mystery for many people. Inspiration or being inspired in art creation or learning can also be taken from other influential elements such as culture, history, nature, tradition, idea, religion, imagination and even creativity. Inspiration triggers an artist to try and find out more about art and its intriguing processes to create something of value. Inspiration in the art can simply be perceived as a feeling which overtakes or activates positive vibes and energy within someone. That someone then is intrigued by it and tries to learn or do something more about it. Can artists be inspired, motivated to intrigued about something such as nature, religion, history, culture or tradition? Would they draw something relating to it then?

Drawing Inspiration from Other Creative Works

Artists around the world can be strongly influenced or inspired by their encounters with the world. They actively make use of such encounters, like seeing the sunset, or looking at how birds fly, and then create art around it. For example, if they go somewhere beautiful and it inspires an artist to capture it in some way, they might even draw something like the visual with entirely different colors and shade as they instead of making a realistic scenery. The creation of artwork can also be inspired by personal experiences or such type of incidents. For example, if a child shows interest in art-making from a young age, and if they get enrolled in an art school, they learn and get inspired by others’ creative artworks. They gain inspiration and acquire knowledge from other artists and their creative works.

Inspiration from Inner Self

Inspiration for an artist usually comes from getting inspired by something. Especially in art education, creation and learning, students learn from others’ artworks, the processes involved in it, and how they were moved to create something so beautiful. They are then motivated to create something beautiful in either by finding inspiration in nature or by acquiring knowledge from other creators and their works. It can involve other creative elements such as images, products or ideas. A lot of people can also be inspired by their experiences with art. For example, a remarkable artist Carole Feuerman, was able to get inspired by spray painting a house which her grandfather built. From a young age, she knew that she wanted to be an artist as her spray colors inspired her, even though she wasn’t sure what kind of artist she would be, she knew that her world revolved around creativity. Thanks to her grandpa, as he helped her identify her passion and enhance her skills, she finally became a sculptor.

Her book, ‘My Hyperrealist Life and Legacy’teaches us a lot about how artists can be stimulated to take inspiration from different encounters in their lives or even from their personal experiences. As a passionate devotee of art and creativity, Carole Feuerman as an artist was able to define and explore her passion and got to where she is today. Her book teaches us a lot about art and creativity and can help other people who are considering becoming artists themselves.

REASONS WHY ARTISTS CAN BE HARD TO UNDERSTAND

By | Articles | No Comments

Did you ever feel that someone is simply from out of this world? We are all unique in our own ways, but if we pay close attention to artists, we can all agree that they belong to a category that can be characterized and studied in a certain way.

Artists have a unique ability to express their feelings, impressions, and memories through different types of art, and we genuinely appreciate what they do, but that does not get us any closer to understanding them, right? Therefore, this article highlights why artists are difficult to handle as compared to other people in general.

1)    They have a creative mind

The fact is that artists don’t have the same deduction system or system of values as others, which is why we find it hard to understand or follow their thought processes. Also, their minds tick a bit differently than the average person because of the diverse details that move them.

2)    They think of their work as their children

It’s imperative to find a way to appreciate their work if you want to get close to an artist. If you have a problem understanding it, then I’m sure you will get an explanation (and don’t discuss how reasonable it is) if you ask for one.

3)    They are irrational and emotional when in love

Artists usually look like they are gliding above the earth, but they are almost flying when they fall in love. Be sure they will do anything to show their affection – in a different way. You better not be there if things don’t turn out the way they planned, because they can fall into deep anguish really quickly.

4)    They express through codes

Speaking of emotions and feelings, the artist tends to express them through their art. That is how they communicate. If they give a piece of art to you, spend a lot of time around you, or give you substantial looks that you don’t fully understand, then you should know they are just trying to show that you are important to them.

5)    Some artists prefer not to be understood

It is one of those irritating characteristics of some artists. They live in their world, and you should be positive that they like it there, so don’t even try to move them or place them in the real world because not a single artist will like it there.

6)    Some artists find it hard to adjust

This brings the discussion to the next point – if you do move them from their place, don’t expect them to fit in. You might also run into a social butterfly (there’s a small group of them that act like that), but the chances are very minimal.

In conclusion, they can be difficult to understand or handle, but that’s nothing you can’t figure out with just a bit of patience. We hope you’ll find these pointers insightful. Remember, they contribute to making our world a better and more beautiful place to live in than before.

THE MODERN FORM OF ART – DIGITAL ARTWORK

By | Articles | No Comments

Nowadays, traditional artwork has triumphed with the modern form of art, digital artwork. Many artists are beginning to learn and show their skills through software and drawing sketches with a digital pen. However, digital artwork can take several forms, including photography, charts, graphs, artistic diagrams, and much more. Nowadays, you can create artwork with a camera, scanner, or even imaging or editing software, rather than using your hand. Universities have begun to teach how they use creative software rather than artist practice drawing or sketches.

As more and more digital artworks have started to take their place in marketing and advertising, traditional artwork’s value is slowly diminishing. Traditional artworks have been developed, transformed, and varied through the stages of history and culture. They represent various cultures and civilizations before us through paintings, sculptures, architecture, stone works, and much more. However, as art is growing more advanced and sophisticated with the use of digital software and computer programs, and the world is witnessing rapid developments in all spheres of life, people need more sophistication and modernism in art. In the old days, it was all about the skill and craft of an artist, the way they drew and made the best use of their hand and mind to draw or make unique pieces of artwork, nowadays more and more people want to make it easily without wasting much time on it. They rush creativity with the use of software applications, as the trend is becoming more fast-paced.

The Use of Art Related Software Applications

With the use of software applications to draw art, it can influence more means of creativity, as you would be able to use a diverse range of color codes, draw simplistic or complex shapes or line within a matter of seconds, and have specialized materials and tools right in front of your computer screens. With tremendous developments in software applications, anyone can draw digital artworks to make them look appealing. It can easily bring about changes in the composition, color, or change the whole aspect of digital artwork and redraw what needs to be changed with just a few clicks. More with the revolutionized form of art, more and more people can integrate electronic sensors, lasers, digital pen, and green screens to make art look more compelling.

With the use of software applications and modern digital artworks, many artists have gotten involved who weren’t skilled with their hand in drawing or sketching. It has also enabled artists to enter into a new paradigm of art. On this new stage, an artist can replace their manual or traditional skills and use their imagination or references in a contemporary manner.

Sophistication in the Field of Creativity

As a result of technological contributions in digital hardware and software, artists are now doing innovative and distinctive aesthetic experiments to create more complex artworks. First, they draw or sketch it with their computer applications, give it a complex blueprint form, and then go for the real thing. Such software tools and applications have become sources to satisfy their artistic desires, dependent upon learning the software application to know its full limitations and capabilities. Some are calling the use of software applications the development of another form of digital creativity.

The best way to learn the practical example is to read the book ‘My Hyperrealist Life and Legacy’ by aspiring artist Carole FeuermanCarole Feuerman is a renowned and inspirational artist who marveled in the traditional form of art and learned the modern use of art and has made sophisticated modern sculptures of swimmers and models, which is truly an awe-inspiring work of art.

WHY ART IS SO IMPORTANT FOR SOME PEOPLE BY CAROLE FEUERMAN

By | Articles | No Comments

Some people are born with a natural tendency to love and admire art. They appreciate the colors in different things around them and develop artistic skills from a young age. These people start to take an interest in art, coloring, and painting to fuel their curiosity and then finally form a lasting passion for art. Furthermore, they try to find new ways to practice their art skill and learn from a different range of options, from which they can draw, color, or paint.

Many artists worldwide develop key concepts to enhance their learning of art and how things can be portrayed, examined, or influenced through art. In more ways, they try to take inspiration from anything that they can find and draw it on the canvas. It is not just about drawing or painting for them. Some of these artists can even use stone, clay, or even thrown away garbage to make something interesting. They have a simple thought process that can quickly comprehend complicated things and turn them into something interesting. Artists are always confident, responsible, reflective, innovative, creative, and equipped for success. They can use their imagination, expression, and thinking to create some of the most beautiful and thought-provoking masterpieces of art.

 The motivation for an Artist

The best motivation for an artist is to take inspiration from different aspects of the world and get influenced by it, whether it’s about politics, freedom of expression, culture, social issues, a representation of an idea or an expression, or just bringing about change. They can express such aspects through art, and people would appreciate them for their most difficult or complicated subjects.

 Qualities of an Artist

There are many different qualities of an artist. The best ones, which are most important, are A deeper understanding of the things and subjects that revolve around themsuch as thinking and analytical skills to include critical thinking and problem-solving. And be able to present complex and sophisticated subjects more easily through art. They also have an independent ability to analyze and look at things from a different perspective.

Artists view the world differently, which isn’t something that can be done by an average person. However, they need opportunities to develop their art practice, enrich their learning, understand the key concepts in art, and use their new skills.

There are many different branches and areas in the art that an artist can choose from, depending upon their abilities. They range from painting, coloring, sketch drawing, sculpture making, photography, digital designing, video, animation, and much more.

Unfortunately, artists worldwide are given less importance and for their work, for which they deserve appreciation. They can spend most of their time making the most intriguing artworks, but they may not appreciate the recognition they deserve. The reason is that nowadays, many modern and aesthetic forms in art have been introduced to discard the traditional works of art.

 New Opportunities for Artists

However, artists can still accommodate a wide range of skills and abilities by using different concepts to represent their art. They need to enhance their skills in art-making to portray their thought processes successfully to the general public fully. They can experiment with other ideas in two and three-dimensional processes, take on risks, and challenge themselves to create something awe-inspiring. They can also learn how to design and develop their technical skills through software programs in digital designing and improve their artistic style. If you want to learn more about art and its fundamental aspects, then you can read my inspiring artist autobiography Carole A.Feuerman‘s ‘My Hyperrealist Life and Legacy’.

I am an artist who has made the best use of my skills and abilities through sculpture. I am one of the three founding members of the hyperrealist movement that began in the late 1970s and continuing into the present.  My career is highlighted by iconic figurative works of swimmers and dancers.  I have taught, lectured, and given workshops at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Solomon Guggenheim Museum.

In 2011, I founded the Carole A. Feuerman Sculpture Foundation. My artworks are owned by eighteen museums, as well as in the collections of the City of Peekskill, New York, the City of Sunnyvale California, President and Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, the Frederic R. Weisman Art Foundation, Dr. Henry Kissinger, the Michael Gorbachev Art Foundation, the Malcolm Forbes Magazine Collection. Feuerman’s public works have been displayed across the globe, including but not limited to: Central Park and Petrosino Square in New York City, l’Avenue George V in Paris, Harbour City in Hong Kong, Giardino Della Marinaressa in Venice, New Bond Street, London, and Knokke Heist in Belgium.

HOW TO MAKE PAINTINGS LOOK MORE REALISTIC

By | Articles | No Comments

When it comes to painting, if you want to make your work look more realistic, irrespective of the style you paint in, this is what I recommend. If you don’t want people to feel left doubting what you have actually painted, you might want to paint realistically. It is imperative to note that painting realism does not mean senselessly copying what you see. But it’s about using your creative license to change the subject in the painting while maintaining the quality of realism. Therefore, this article highlights a few essential tips to make paintings look more realistic.

1)    Get the Color Values Right

Color values are the most important tip when it comes to creating more realistic paintings. Value in painting is how light or dark a color is, and it is extensively considered to be one of the central elements of a painting. Besides, if you are able to paint with precise values, then your painting will have a quality of realism irrespective of how correct your colors, edges, shapes, and other elements are.

2)    Use Soft, Hard, & Lost Edges

In painting, edge transitions from one shape to another, and edges are categorized as hard, soft, or lost. The hard edge is for a crisp transition between two shapes, whereas soft edges have some gradation between the shapes to make the transition smooth.  On the other hand, a lost edge where the edge is so soft that you can hardly see it. It usually occurs when there are two shapes next to each other having the same color. Also, lost edges don’t give you much information about the subject form.

3)    Focus on The Important

It is suggested to identify a few things that most interest you about the subject you are painting and be extremely specific. It could be the light bouncing off or any impressive shape arrangement. Typically, there are only 1-3 things that really interests you about a subject. So, just focus on painting those things and try to simplify the rest.

4)    You Might Not Want Visible Brushwork

Visible brushwork is the most interesting aspect of a traditional painting; however, you will need to learn how to use an airbrush. An airbrush is a small, hand-held instrument connected to a canister of compressed air that sprays paint in a controlled way giving an even and consistent surface. Artists and illustrators often use airbrushing to create a high level of realism.

5)    You Will Need to Learn How to Copy from Real Life

It is incredibly helpful to have a model or a still life, or a landscape in front of you while working on your picture. This reference will help you, enormously.

6)    Question What You See

Sadly, our eyes often play little tricks on us, and what we believe we see is not actually what is there. It is most apparent in color and value. Therefore, question what you see to make your paintings more realistic.

In conclusion, you must learn how to visualize like an artist. Besides, break everything down into fundamental elements like edge, shape, color, and line. For instance, instead of painting just anything, paint the shapes, edges, colors, and lines to make your painting look more realistic.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO LEARN IN ART CREATIVITY

By | Articles | No Comments

Creating art is something that belongs to everyone. Anyone who wants to test their imagination to create art is welcome to do so with an open mind and an open heart. Art can easily be learned, and some people are even born with the talent of creating or making art.

The field of art is very diverse, and there are many different forms of art. To name a few, there are paintings, photography, sculpture making, digital animation, acting, and much more. In simple words, art can be an idea, an imagination, an expression, or a representation of history or culture. For most people, art is taken as an idea that belongs to everyone. It can be found in any culture or history in any era, and then an artist brings it in a physical form.

The Importance of Art in the Eyes of an Artist

Artists can use their talents or creativity by using emotions, color aesthetics, or psychological thoughts that they encounter in life. They are good at keeping their thoughts aligned while creating art from a simple thought process. Most artists can make the best use of their emotions and aesthetic sense to create art, which can be astonishing and appealing at the same time. Many can learn much about art by practicing it. For some, it comes naturally to them. Practice and lessons learned in the pursuit of art can easily educate you about the important things in artistic creativity and make you a better artist.

Art is not Separate from Life Itself

Most people fail to understand that art is not separate from life. Almost everything that we experience in life is an expression of art. For example, the color shades we see in clouds, the sea, trees, flowers, landscapes, and even nature can teach us a lot about art and its creativity. Art is even in the very description of ourselves and even in the lives that we lead. Many artists have been creating art in paintings, photography, materials, objects, architecture, sculptures, and much more. Still, they are intrigued to find out more about its phenomenon. Most artists worldwide are trained to learn the important things in artistic creativity, but some are born with a natural tendency to learn and discover the creative things in art and follow their passion. Many would go an extra mile and beyond their limitations to pursue their passion in art, just like Carole Feuerman did to learn about art and create real look-alike sculptures of dancers, swimmers, and many more.

Learning about Creativity in Air

It is necessary for an artist to learn how to achieve creativity in art from a professional art school. They can learn about art education, history, culture, different famous artists in the past, and what distinguished them from contemporary artists. They can also reflect on how they understand art and its creativity, which is an extension of our daily culture and life. Artists need to realize that art is everywhere around them to see and perceive it from a different in-depth perspective. For naturally gifted artists, they have a different way of seeing and analyzing art. The way they see it, make it, look at it is ever-evolving.

It is also important for the artist to understand that art transforms itself with every passing era, culture, and history, especially in making and representing itself. It is always important for an artist to learn, analyze, search, know, and doubt on achieving creativity in art itself. One needs to understand the details and processes of art creation intimately. That is why imitation has always been an integral part of art creation. As for the artists, they need to assimilate and combine their psychological, aesthetical, and emotional senses and then organize them to create art to give meaning to it. It requires skill and practices for an artist to do that. However, once an artist learns how to achieve that, there is no stopping them from creating the most amazing art piece.

To know and learn about art creativity’s important things, read the book ‘My Hyperrealist Life and Legacy’ by the famous artist Carole Feuerman. This book is really for anyone who cares about art and inspires to be an artist. Carole Feuerman, the artist and author of the book ‘My Hyperrealist Life and Legacy,’ explains how she got inspired to become an artist. She learned about art and how it enriches our being.

LEARNING ABOUT SCULPTURE ART

By | Articles | No Comments

Sculpture has not really received the attention it deserves compared to painting, photography, and modern art. Even intellectuals and philosophers of art do not recognize how difficult it is to make a sculpture. Sculpture stands out in its own classical and contemporary forms. Those who make it, know how difficult and delicate it is to make sculpture and especially figurative sculpture. People over the years have raised questions about its ontology, representation, and person character. Thus they should truly appreciate the painstaking process it takes to make a truly remarkable sculpture art worth admiration.

The History of Sculpture Art

Before the 20th century, sculpture art was widely received and admired by people, especially in the Vatican City of Rome, where different sculptures portrayed angels and demons for the representation of religion. It became more than a tradition as all sculptures in the western world where the representation of celebrities. More and more sculptures began to be made as freestanding works of art. As its progression grew, sculptures were made on famous old buildings and altarpieces. Sculptures are mostly made out of durable materials such as stone, bronze,  plaster, and wood.

Much Deserved Recognition

As modern forms of art began to make their mark in photography, materialism, and digital works, sculpture began to slow down over the years. Many sculptural  statues and abstract works of Barbara Hepworth and Louise Nevelson are still appreciated but represented imaginary objects. The most intriguing thing about sculpture is that it represents a world of its own. A single sculpture can define a whole story, whether it is an imaginary object, a historical figure, or a celebrity.

They are even famous for describing an environment, as we explore the meaning through them. Some sculptures can even tell secret coded messages or mysteriously point at something of importance, as shown in famous movies like National treasure and Angels and Demons. However, the treatment and the making of a sculpture is exceptionally delicate and expensive. Many people aim to distinguish the traditional divisions and importance of sculptures from paintings and architecture. Some have even discredited it as performance art. However, sculptures are more than just figurative statues or three-dimensional non-art objects. They define a whole new meaning of art by their complex contours and should be held in high regard and admired and appreciated.

Sculptures should be distinguished separately from other forms of art, as some of them represent historical traditions, information, and practices of the previous era. There is a sense of nostalgia attached to them, as they can give the pleasure of view and touch.  Contemporary sculpture is an important contribution to our life today. To learn more about the importance of sculpture, it is better to read the book ‘My Hyperrealist Life and Legacy’ by the famous artist Carole Feuerman. As a renowned artist, she has made some interesting and modernistic sculptures and has given an in-depth view and perception of art and how she became an artist. She also provides her best interpretation of how she came to know about her passion for art and understand it deeply. Her book is a must-read for all the artists around the world.

HOW TO UNDERSTAND MEANING AND CREATIVITY IN ART

By | Articles | No Comments

Art is a dynamic phenomenon that keeps on changing, first as a visual in the artist’s mind and then as a  creation. However, art can only be created by those who have a sense of it, so it is necessary to find and define the meaning and creativity in art. Finding meaning and creativity in art is not an easy task, as much has already been inquired about it through artistic expressions. One must understand its implications through creativity, aesthetic forms, imagination, color, and expression. Defining the meaning and creativity of art is difficult, as many people can view it based on their perception. Many philosophers, theorists, critics, and artists have argued about having the best approach to understanding art, meaning, and creativity.

Famous Artists of the World

It still emerges as a question in contemporary literature. True artists who have a greater understanding of art can attempt to determine the meaning and creativity of art, as they have spent their entire lifetime to view and understand art. Artists like Carole Feuerman, Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Vincent van Gogh, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Henri Matisse, Jackson Pollock, Edvard Munch, Claude Monet, Edward Hopper, Frida Kahlo, and many more. These artists can easily express their art and define its meaning and creativity. Art is always meant to be appreciated even when it may appear controversial or disturbing, as there is always a hidden meaning behind it. Art can only be appreciated by those who can understand and enjoy art. The best way to appreciate art is to understand its meaning and creativity from a different perspective, and not just look like different shades of color aesthetics.

Does Art Need to be ‘Understood’ or ‘Enjoyed’

Most people argue that art needs to be enjoyed rather than understood. Just like life is simply meant to be experienced. However, the more we understand anything, the more we learn how it can  enhance our experience. To have a deeper understanding of art, its meaning, and creativity, we need to understand that art is more than just a visual expression. It can also represent an idea, experience, imagination, a thought-provoking subject, or even invoke motivation for the viewer.

It can be made by using different techniques, materials, technology, or even ideas. More importantly, an artist needs to have the ability to bring his thoughts, ideas, and imagination onto the canvas, a patch or a paper, through the use of different materials. Mere novelty is not enough. He or she must have something unique, relevant or unlock a new way of imagining or thinking. It can be difficult, but true artists find it to be intriguing to bring their imagination and ideas through the use of art. Many have accomplished so much more than just money through their artworks. Many of us may even think that creating art only belongs to those naturally gifted. However, every one of us has some level of creativity and potential or even some unique talent that we may not know. You just need to find and exploit it, just as an artist does with their paintings. One must understand to find its meaning and purpose.

Defining Meaning and Creativity in Art

Most of us can view art as a product, but true artist finds their work to have a profound meaning and can easily define the creativity behind it. Art is not something that can be created by merely thinking about it. There is a thought process behind it. For example, the famous painting, Mona Lisaby Leonardo Da Vinci, is believed to be painted between 1503 and 1506. The painting itself has captured the fascination of millions of people around the world. The artist claims that he wanted to capture the enigmatic facial expressions of Mona Lisa’s smile, but there are more hidden messages and creativity behind this painting. Many have argued that the painting reflects the idea of establishing a link between humanity and nature.

In contrast, others think her smile is fake or forceful, yet it appears to be alluring. Many historians, philosophers, and thinkers have argued over its hidden meaning and creativity, but none have achieved its conclusion. Yet, the painting has inspired millions of people to still look and think upon it. As art is taken as an expression, it can give out a unique meaning and creativity.

To learn more about art and it’s meaning and creativity, I would recommend the book ‘My Hyperrealist Life and Legacy’ by the artist Carole Feuerman, who has motivated many people around the world through her story and art. She tells us about how she was inspired to become an artist as she loved paintings. She also tells us about how she never gave up on her dream to become an artist, as she started painting on the floor and decided to nurture her gift since the age of ten by perfecting different art techniques. She has founded the Carole A. Feuerman Sculpture Foundation, and her artworks are owned by 18 museums. She is also one of the three founding members of the hyper-realist movement that began in the late ’70s and still exists today.
